EDLD 5398 - Week 3 Web Conference - March 18, 2012

Once we got past the problems with sound and video, we had a great discussion regarding the various requirements for both the ETL and Principal Certification. Several of the group have been in the new list of course work which allows us to take the principal exam should we choose. Due the changes in the course work, we will need to submit reflections from the principal courses in place of the ETL ones we did not take. The principal requirements were also discussed. Though we can place these documents on our wiki site, it is not necessary; however, we do need to email them to the Certification Office and upload them into the TK20 binder that has been assigned. There were two other questions regarding the our paths for life long learning. The first question referred to getting published and the second, what professional technology organizations to join. The answer to both questions were the same: www.tcea.org and www.iste.org. These organizations focus on technology in education and are always looking for good articles regarding the use of technology in the classroom.
